It is as lucky to have a good （neighbor） as unfortunate to have a bad one.  In real life, some （neighbors） are admired like role models while some are who, for lack of mutual respect,  you would love to hate; but most others are considered somewhere in between.  Perhaps, what makes you a desirable （neighbor） is simply having enough traditional common sense, such as 1） behaving yourself and 2） understanding the people living next door.
