Sandy導師是美國獨立教育顧問協會（IECA）高級會員，并受IECA協會邀請擔任新會員培訓導師。Sandy導師曾任職于多所學校，有豐富的國際教育教學經驗，除美國本土以外，還在英國、日本、馬來西亞、中國等多個國家有國際教學的工作、學習經驗，擅長于和國際學生合作及跨文化的溝通與交流。此外，Sandy導師對于學習障礙領域有多年的深入研究，在該領域多個協會任職，并出版了一系列指導手冊，獲得廣泛好評。
